We need to interact with other artists, or we shall go seriously nuts To support emerging artists by sharing our expertise and experience Develop as Artist Explore our art and ourselves Create our own opportunities Provide art related speaker in a series of lectures Encourage creativity, freedom, and self-expression and artistic discussion: Philosophy of art - explore current ideas and issues of visual art as they relate to contemporary art techniques and media - historic, traditional and contemporary methods Business of art - portfolios development, marketing, grant writing, group critiques, bookkeeping, exhibiting, mentoring Interact with the Community Outreach to other artists and arts groups Educate the general public and the business community about the pervasive role that art plays in our everyday lives: ideas, values, and images
